If you want blinds from this company make sure your not in a hurry. They deal with FedX and right now they lost my blinds. I did file a complaint with the Blinds company and got a call but they also had no luck with FedX locating my blinds.

They decided to send me another blind since they could not locate the one sent by FedX. FedX is there provider for shipping and they are looking at changing shipping companies.

There is no physical way to place an order with this company, and it gets worse from there. Steve's Blinds used to be my favorite blind company.

Now it is a piece of history. I think that Steve must have died.

I ordered blinds that arrives with broken slats. They have pictures on their website with video that do not match what they mean. Yes I read the words,but I felt like I should go with what the picture and video says it means, even though they used different words hence the pictures. stack left wand left meant the opposite of what I ordered. you can't change the carrier to the opposite side,so I need a whole new bar. The customer service is the worst...I mean worse than a *** accent from another country. They act retarded when you try to tell them what the problem is. They are trying to cover their mistake by taking down the incorrect pictures & Video. They are not easy to get in touch with,because they are not available after 5p.m. Eastern time,and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I have called several times,and left several emails,and they have not gave a *** to make this right.

I've ordered from them half a dozen times over the past 15 years I've always received correct sizes when my measurements were right they stand behind their product and have replaced blinds when necessary even if it was my fault and sent me extra parts when I needed them for difficult installations. The product line is good and I've installed some complicated up down blinds that are stunning can couldn't be purchased for twice the price I paid. Steve's faux wood blinds are excellent and I've only had one blind warp out of the 60 to 80 I've installed. I've been calling Steve's again for the next house I do.

BEWARE of purchasing anything online through Steve’s blinds, their computer system is faulty, and you will be sent dozens of blinds at an incorrect size, and the company will do ABSOLUTELY nothing to send you the right ones or give you a refund. I had to get in touch with my bank to dispute the charge that took several days, customer service will speak over you while you’re speaking and will NOT listen to you. They will bluntly tell you to figure out what you’re going to do with the incorrect blinds, she actually told me to “ sell them” They will do absolutely nothing to help you and will refuse to believe that the error was on their end, I ordered a 32 x 40 window blind for a small window above the sink, and 11 same size blinds 30x55 for the rest of the main level, I was sent -12- 32 x 40‘s, so I was stuck with 12 small window blinds that I can do absolutely nothing with they will not return them they will not refund me, beware of this company , order at your own risk, should you get the correct size, you’re lucky! But if you get sent the wrong size, understand that you’re stuck with them. The woman I spoke to was horrible, I couldn’t get a word in edgewise. they order their blinds from secondary manufacturers and for that reason they cannot help you if you have a error or ANY issue. you will be stuck with a massive bill & a dozen blinds that you can do absolutely nothing with. If you’re lucky you can dispute the charge and get a refund that way, in terms of getting one through customer service FORGET ABOUT IT. I’m writing this review to warn other customers, I am a professional in the interior design industry, and I have never ever run into this type of issue with any company, I am absolutely shocked.

Poor quality wood blinds; if you have an opportunity, buy somewhere else. The quality of Steves Blinds is well below the competitors and I actually ordered the mid grade (not the lowest grade!). Customer service takes several days to respond and the blinds were cut too long - not something I am used to when ordering customer blinds. Customer services just tells me that they will check with the factory on my issues and then gets back to me 2 weeks later.

Website does not make clear that color shades are color on one side only. When I questioned why this was not made clear I was told that I should have gotten a sample. How should I know a sample was needed if they did not indicate that they did not give customer all info on website? Attitude from start was that it was my fault but they might try to help. Customer service has very little info at hand, has to check with factory for any info. When I questioned as to what could be done, never received return calls had to follow up myself. No solution to problem, offered no discount for their mistake. Solve it yourself attitude. Will never buy from them again.

I know this website is mostly about saying how bad XYZ company is, and how terrible their service was for the people complaining. But I've got to say that I've ordered three times from Steves Blinds, all of which were orders for cellular shades, no wallpaper. I've never had a single problem. They have by far the best prices I've found online or in my local stores, and the quality is superb. If I've got a complaint, it is that the blinds take a couple of weeks to ship, unless you buy one of their express ship blinds. But all in all, they are really great and I just put an order in for another five blinds for my new remodel. I strongly recommend this company.

Never received credit for returned wallpaperI

I ordered 16 rolls of wallpaper in May 2016 , which looked like the right shade of red(more of a Burgundy) from their website, but when I received it , it was really an orange red , not a blue red like it appeared on their site. It wasn't even close to what it was displayed as, which is a liability, I realize ,from ordering sight unseen.

So I called and got the authorization # to return the 16 rolls(not cheap to mail, btw) I mentioned that the color was not even close to the online representation and was told that they would look into it. Long story short, after 2 months I called to let them know that I still hadn't received the credit and they asked for the tracking #, which I gave.(I was told that they were way behind in getting to the returns but, that I should see the credit on my card within 2 weeks. Come September....still no credit issued...called again...same story.....it's been 6 months now and still no credit issued....will take issue with my credit card since I have no other recourse. I have ordered hundreds of dollars of paper from them in the past, but never had to return anything.

I can't continue to be a good customer with a company that has such little regard for their customers . They will take your money but the buck stops there.

30% restocking fee and shipping. WOW

Before ordering anything take the time to read the fine print. They are awful 30% restocking fee the highest and any other company.

You have to wait for them to give you the reference number in order to return anything at all.

It takes about 2 weeks and you only have 3 weeks to return thr item so you have to run to the post office after receiving return approval #and you must pay the returned UPS or Federal Express & depending on an item it can run you from $10 and up, so make sure you return it immediately .They make money on you no matter what. Very disappointed I had another wallpaper to exchange it for but did NOT matter.

Terrible product, terrible customer service

I ordered 3 blinds that are defective. The cord lock mechanism is defective so the blinds will not lower by pulling the cord to the left. I finally got one lowered to see that2 slats are in the same slot. It has been a nightmare trying to tesolve the issue. Six emails, two web chats, and many phone calls just give me the run around. Terrible product and terrible customet service

I have not received my blinds

I ordered one blind from Steve's blinds over a month ago. I still have not received it.

I got an email from a company named Bizate asking if I was satisfied with my purchase. I let them know I did not receive my purchase. They emailed back basically saying sorry we have nothing to do with that. The blinds or whatever are ordered from them by Steve's blinds and where they go from there has nothing to do with them and I should contact the company I ordered from, Seems strange they had my email address, but knew nothing about the order.

I will be following up on this. I will first contact Steve;s blinds and wallpaper.

I should hve looked at the reviews, which were poor, before ordering from this company. Angry customer

We have moved several times and always used Steve's Blinds and Wallpaper. We have purchased levolor cellular and mini blinds. We have also purchased a lot of Thibaut wallpaper . They have the best prices and service. We also receive our blinds and wallpaper very quickly. We like that it is a family owned business. One time we had an issue with our wallpaper order and they fixed it right away with no questions asked. Doesn't get much better than this. We have used several other on-line sellers of blinds and wallpaper but no one has better pricing or service. 2 thumbs up for Steve's.
